I have gotten tango to fully interact with cubase 9 I cant utilize the
entire mixer how its intended to be utilized but at least half of tangos
functions are working.
I have run into a major problem though my tangos interface is incomplete
and it tells me there is no edit panel assigned to it. I have zero access
to any interface fearures like eq or inserts or any of that stuff.
But this unit I can tell would work flawlessly with cubase 9 if some
updates were made available for tango.

installation, this file should be in "AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 9"

By the way, how is Tango working with Cubase 9 ? Is it all working fine ?
We might have some good news for everyone about the possible future of
Tango software, but we can’t tell you much more at this point. Will keep
