Steve, I never have to refresh the music library, but once the track is on the
phone it shows up in the list of tones in Profiles.

  Hi Jean,

Copy it to the phone in the usual way, the music player, then options, then
refresh.

  All the best

  Steve

I need more detail. After I copy it on the phone, what exactly should I do?
How do I get the phone to use that file as a ringtone?

Also, any other thoughts on getting the n82 to synch properly? Right now, my
phone directory is full of email addresses but if I delete them they are also
removed from the email directory.

  Any suggestions welcome.

  Jean

    Hi Jean,

Just copy it anywhere on the phone and then refresh the music library.

    All the best

    All:

I want to put a ringtone on my n82 that is not included in the provided
one's from Nokia. It is an audio wav or mp3 file. How can I put it into the
ringtone list?

    Jean

      Brian,

That was also my question, as I've not seen Navigator for that before.

Hi. You can always try the Wayfinder Navigator application which is far
cheeper than Wayfinder Access. The map will tell you where you are. Talks will
read map info and the guide info when navigating. Talks will also read the name
of the next turning but you will need to see which way the direction is
pointing. The icons are quite large so there isn't a problem there either. If
you can't see then switch the female voice on which gives you turn by turn
instruction and you'll overcome that obstical. I have used the Maps when out
and about and Talks will tell me what road I'm on and if there is a road either
side of me I press the right and left arrow to find out the name of that road.
Not a bad application for £34. Wayfinder Access is a much more detailed app as
you are told of POIs around you and what crossing is around you and what
crossing you are approaching. You don't have to be in a navigation mode to use
these features. I just don't see the point of paying 8 times more for that
piece of info. I can use Loadstone for that and that is for free. With
Loadstone you would need to enter all your points of interest and there is no
internet connection involved. You just rely on GPS.

          Hi Chris,

Nope, if you want access, you need Wayfinder Access for GPS.

          All the best
