The past few days I haven't sent many texts and don't use the internet at all or play music. Thats why I don't understand why the battery useage is not so good. It also seems to be getting less and less as the days go on.

Hi John

I find it quite difficult to quantify battery life.  So what I do is
charge mine every evening when I get home from work, or leave them
charging overnight in readiness for the next day.  I also carry spare
chargers in my travel bag so I don't forget to pick up the ones I use at
home.

I have heard about battery life being a bit mean on the N82, but because
I do a daily charge, I don't personally run into problems.

I wonder what the average length of time a battery lasts with talks. I
recently bought a Nokia N82 and everything is turned off, blue tooth
etc. Yet I only get about 40 hours then it requires charging.

Is this about the average time?
