Hi,

Yes, reformatting the phone would not lose the firmware, that is there for
ever, once you have updated.

I would go ahead and reformat the phone if I were you.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [talks-uk] phone memory in my N73wont install new apps

Hi folks,

My N73 as the subject says will not install new apps to the phone memory as
it reports insufficient space, yet the memory indicates 17mb of space still
available, I have tried to clear out everything not necessary and move other
things to the sd card yet it will not let me install app to the 17 mb that
is available,so;
1. how can I ensure there is nothing taking up the space.
2. Can I reset/format the phone memory without undoing the last firmware
update ( firmware is using most recent)
3. would the Nokia system take up 28 mb of the available 46mb? seems a lot
to me.

any thoughts would be good

Alistair
