Last year, I sent my N 86 for repair, here in the US. It cost $50.00 and I got a new mother board. Good luck. I remember before Christmas there were rumours about a range of Nokia phones that would be released that would support the Nokia screenreader, maybe around Christmas time. Vodafone who I am with now appear to have stopped doing all but the Lumia range of nokia smart phones which as far as I know are windows based. They also have none symbian phones such as the C3. Are there any new viable symbian phones still available out there? If not, it seems to me that if you want to avoid having to rely on a touch screen the only choices are to find a second hand phone that will run either talks or perhaps the more basic free nokia screenreader or to buy a new phone with Android Ice Cream sandwich in a month or 2 once more phones with icecream sandwich are available. In particular, an update on what happened to these supposed new phones to be released round Christmas would be useful since my Nokia N85 has died and it seems that If I want accessibility I must therefore go second hand or I am forced down the apple or android routes.
