Have you set any apps to auto-sync on startup? Or have any other apps starting
automatically at startup for that matter? The best thing to do for the moment
is to set the default connection to 'Always Ask' and disable any auto-connects
from specific applications, including using user defined access points until
you pin down what is connecting and why.

Thanks Steve. I phoned Vodafone to set it up and I think they said something
like save the settings on the phone, and it is Nokia something or other, have
they installed the wrong program and if so how the hell do I get rid of it?

Hi Mandy,

It is supported on the N97, and the Mini, but it probably depends on what theme
you are running. I need to look into this further, as I believe it is
supported, contrary to what Saqib says. <Smile>.

All the best

Steve

I've done the lot Pete, changed the cursor to letters but the keys just beep if
you arrow down. But Saqib has just said that phone is not supported yet which
is a pain and I suppose there won't be another Talks update for a year or so
now.

Hi Mandy

that sounds odd, does it not read the email if you arrow down? Or how about by
touch? So if you touch the text of the email does talks read it?

Also what cursor mode do you have talks set to? If set to original then try
changing to words or letters and see if that helps

cheers

Pete

Hi Everyone,

I haven't had anyone reply to this yet, does anyone know what I'm doing wrong
with my e-mail on the N97 mini? Talks won't read it, it's as if there is
nothing on the screen but my P.A. said that it was all there and she read it to
me.

Hi folks,

I think I've got my e-mail set up on my handset, but when there is an open
e-mail, Talks won't read it, is there a setting that I have to change or
something. It also won't read any of the headings either.

Thanks

Mandy
