Hi everyone.

For future reference, if anyone wants to download settings to any Nokia phone,
they can visit the Nokia website at www.nokia.co.uk and choose Phone Settings
under support. You will be redirected to WTD Global, the company that networks
use to deploy phone settings via text. Follow the simple instructions
displayed and you will have your settings in a matter of minutes. During the
final stage of the process, you will need sighted assistance to have the
verification code read to you. This code is to prevent automatic scripts
generating multiple requests such as are used by spammers.

With best wishes, Ibrahim

  Hi Graham,

You're best bet is to go to the Orange website and get the wap settings sent
to your phone. Once you save the message you receive, your access point is set.

I can't seem to find, on the orange website where you can download the
configuration though.

This is what I do when i want to change the access points on my phone that,
wasn't a virgin mobile phone.

    Hi all.

I have a Nokia 6630 phone and managed to get t-mobile to give me an
unlocking code. This works fine but I want to use it occasionally to use some
spare time up on my orange sim.

I have added the appropriate orange access point but cannot get the phone
to connect with it. I have gone in to the web application, gone to options and
selected default access point and changed this to Orange but the phone still
insists on connecting to t-mobile and of course this fails without the t-mobile
sim.

Is there something I am doing wrong or can the providers of phones force
you to use their access point even though the phone is unlocked?

    Cheers

    Graham
