Now that is very interesting in any case because I have a friend looking to purchase a new mobile with Talks and she does not want to pay additional money for Talks. I and indeed she had thought that only Vodafone did it. Interestingly with your N95 is it branded? How much did you pay for it and did Carphone Warehouse unlock it for you? While browsing at the available phones on display I was approached by the store assistant. I decided I was going to purchase the N95 8GB so I made this clear to her. I then asked her if they would install Talks for me as the Carphonewarehouse install Talks standard for VI customers on request. She then asked her line manager if they do this. He then replied yes we do but I needed an internet add on to complete the installation. I told the Line manager that Talks can be installed from a CD or can be downloaded from the internet from the PC as the application needs to be installed from a PC. I then was told that even if I had installed Talks from a PC I would still need an internet add on as Talks runs from the internet. I told them politely that this isn't true and I've been using Talks for 18 months now. They kept on insisting that what they were telling me was true and I needed to listen to them instead of reasoning with them. I did go on to purchase the phone and made it clear that I didn't want any add ons put in to place. Three UK made the Carphonewarehouse look like experts. -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter. We are a community of 5.6 million users fighting spam.
