Hi you could always hav both IE and Firefox installed so at least if you know you are going to a site which is likely to hav captchas then you can launch Firefox instead and know you can be independent but still hav IE for normal use. I hate captchas too but at least there is a solution like this so we can independently do things that others do. Cheers Pete -original message- Subject: [talks-uk] Re: Y-BROWSER From: "Carol Pearson" <carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: 18/06/2010 9:52 pm I tried it and it wasn't so slick and comfortable for me as IE, I'm afraid. In some instances, I found that pages weren't broken up into sections as well so it was more difficult for me to take information in so quickly. I know there are various solutions to these Captchas and do appreciate some of the reasoning behind them, but I just find them such a bore and frustrating and don't really want the bother of them, even if there are solutions that sometimes work. Sorry for the moan - guess I'm getting old! <Smiles> -- Carol carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx On Twitter: http://twitter.com/songbird49a ---- Original Message ---- From: "DurDevil" <durdevil@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, June 18, 2010 1:01 PM Subject: [talks-uk] Re: Y-BROWSER > Hi Carol > > switch your web browser to Firefox, then get the add on > called Webvisum and captchas will no longer frustrate you > > hope this helps > > Pete > > > > -original message- > Subject: [talks-uk] Re: Y-BROWSER > From: "Carol Pearson" <carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: 18/06/2010 11:21 am > > Oh, why does everyone send you to sites where you have to > deal with > Captchas?
