OK Steve I put it on the silver N95 as it happened rather than the N95 8GB.
Now caan I leave it as a WAV file or do I have to change the format in order to
play it? If so how do I change the format? How will I put it on the memory
card Steve? Can I use the Bluetooth to do that?

  Hi Eleanor,

You probably don't have enough memory to save a 9MB wav file to your internal
memory. The only way to do it would be to copy it to the memory card if you
have one, using a PC, then play it from there. It gets saved to gallery by
default.

  All the best

  Steve

Subject: [talks-uk] WAV Files and N95

I transferred a 9 MB WAV file from my PC to my N95 using Bluetooth. I had
never transferred a file via Bluetooth to my N95 before. In fact I had never
transferred a file! I hadn't a clue what was going to happen and where the
file would end up. It ended up in my Inbox and when I opened it, it was a
message from Bluetooth with my file as attachment. I then decided I would say
the file but did not have a clue where it would go. I Saved it anyway, or
attempted to and what I got was System Error or System Failure. I was a bit
worried that it had damaged my phone but I found it had not and tried again.
The same thing happened. Guess a WAV file is no good on an N95. What should I
do if I want to listen to this file on my N95? How can I make it an MP3 file?
Can I send this file the WAV file, as an e-mail attachment? I have ended up
with the WAV file being moved to My Folders which is in the same Menu as Inbox,
Sent, Out etc. Now I cannot find it to attach it as an e-mail attachment. If
someone can tell me how to locate it I would appreciate this please. Once
located and attached to my e-mail will I be able to send a file of 9 MB and if
yes how long will that take to send and will it cost me a lot more than for a
smaller attachment. I am using Pay as you Talk in Ireland but I would be
interested to hear what people have to say who have sent files of that size as
attachments on a Pay as you talk phone. I love reading and replying to my
e-mails on my mobile phone while on holiday and have been able to do all of
this thanks to the list. Hope you can all help here again.

  Eleanor
