Graham, Yes the n96 is like this, and having played with it for about
half an hour I decided I could get used to it, but I wouldn't like it.

on the n85 though each row on the touch pad is a single strip though
there is a dot on the 5. I am initially put off by this but most seem
to have got used to it.
