I have them turned off Paul but I will check in case I have inadvertently
turned them on again.

Yeh, Vodafone say you should switch your phone off periodically anyway which
is meant to prevent this sort of thing happening.
 
Turn off your keypad tones too and that should help.
 
You can keep the other tones on, like warning tones etc if you want.

Sometimes I seem to hit a key twice and then my phone just turns off and
re-boots.  Does this happen to anyone else.  It is the N96 but I think it
has happened on the N95 too.
