Hi Keith, The built in receiver does work, but the software that comes with it is no good for a pedestrian mode, it is mainly designed for cars. Wayfinder is a much better experience. You can use Wayfinder with the internal GPS receiver, but again, there are much better external receivers that will give you a better experience - receivers that will acquire a fix in a much shorter time. But you can definitely manage with the inbuilt receiver. I have thought about the Nokia N95 as it takes Talks and has GPS built in. Does the N95 GPS work sufficiently with Talks to be usable by a Totally Blind Person without further Software? I understand that the N95 GPS is not the 'best in the world' but does it work reasonably with Waffinder Access or will I need to use an External GPS Receiver if I go the Wayfinder Access route? All help will be appreciated. Best Wishes KEITH -- KEITH ROTHWELL Bury, Lancashire, United Kingdom E-Mail: keith@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx BLIND PERSON -PLAIN TEXT ONLY PLEASE - NO GRAPHICS
