Barbara,

Should probably know this by now, but what's the mute button for Talks?
Thanks to you and Steve for your help.

Regards,
Léonie.

I found that even with mute on keylock selected sometimes the text alert
tone does not play. But if you manually mute TALKS with the appropriate
keystroke and then lock the keypad the text alert always sounds. Bit querky,
but that's what I've found.

Hi Leonie,

Yup, I think Barbara has given the work round re scrolling through the
ringtones. Simply mute talks in the list of tones. When you have selected
the tone you want, unmute talks agaon.

What Jayne does to work round the text alert problem is to put the keylock
on when your not using the phone and make sure that talks mutes on keylock.
You should then get your text alert come through ok.

She also said that you need to look out for pressing the buttons. You need
to press the buttons pretty squarely on in the centre of the button as they
are pretty small.

Steve,

I've just got my e50 up and running and besides a complete inability to
pick up calls properly, my fault, not the phone's, I really like it.

I am having trouble hearing ring tones though. If my phone rings, that's
fine, but if I get a text, no ring tone. I've checked the settings and
definitely have volume turned up, ring tone selected. I also can't hear the
different ring tones when I want to change them. I can scroll up and down
the lit, but hear no ring tones being played. Very odd.

If you get the same problem or know of a possible solution, I'd be happy
to hear.

Regards,
Léonie.

Hi All,

Just wondering if many of you have looked at the new Nokia E50? My partner
has just got one and to be honest, I'm rather annoyed I didn't wait a while
myself and see what it was like! It is a really gorgeous sexy little phone.
Very slim and thin. Slightly taller than some but it's sexiness makes up
for it! smiles.

I'm using an N73 at the moment both with Daniel. Anyone found any quirks
with the 3rd edition talks yet?

Steve
