Thanks Eleanor for this info, very helpful. It looks then the C5 is my only
option as the other E phones you mentioned don't have a traditional numeric
keypads but a qwerty keyboards plus the touch screen.

Thanks again.

I have a C5.00. talks works just fine. The phone is available through RNIB
and is unlocked and unbranded. It is around £150.00!!! A disadvantage of
this phone is that it does not have wi-fi. Other phones with keyboard are
the E5, E6 and E7. E6 and E7 have touch screens. The E6 is one which feels
like the E72 and has qwerty keypad. The E7 is a slider phone. It has a
touch screen and the keyjpad slides out. The E6 and E7 would be the most
modern phones. E5 is a nice phone too. Incidentally the E7 is the most
expensive.

Subject: [talks-uk] Nokia C5 and other keypad phones

Hi all, a couple of questions please.

1. Which of the Nokia C5 editions is Talks compatible? I believe there are
two C5 models, C5 and C5 5mp, right? And generally speaking, does Talks
function well on the C5?

2. Is there any phones with a numeric keypad and Talks compatible out there
other than the C5? If there is one with a higher specs that would be even
better. I'm not talking about second hand models...

Any tips will be gratefully received.
