[talks-uk] N96 All Message Data Lost and All Mailboxes Deleted - NOTHING!!!

A very strange thing happened to me tonight. The phone died, as it does from
time to time. The end of a long day of usage. I was writing an e-mail message
and was about to hit Send. As the phone died, Talks said Saving message and
breatheed its last!!! When I got in home 3 minutes later I went directly to
plug in the power and start the recharging. I do not know what happened when I
turned on the phone with the power cable in, the usual picture Wallpaper,
photograph of my guide dog Neela did not appear. There was some writing but
needless to say I could not read it. I could not get a geek out of the phone
so opened the back, removed the battery and rebooted. the same thing happened
again. I could not understand it. Repeated this again and this time my screen
walpaper photograph appeared and Talks was back and cherping away. I went to
the messages. They were all gone. Not only that every mailbox, I had 6, was
totally wiped out and all the Inbox messages too. No record of sent messages,
all gone. Yet my Reports of messages sent and calls made were all still there.
What can have happened? Any ideas? I've had a mobile phone for a year now
and nothing like this has ever happened before.
