Hi Colin.
First of all, make sure you are using Talks 5.20.3, as this provides
support for Nokia/Ovi maps. As for your solution, well I can't
understand maps to be honest, so I may give Loadstone a try. I
appreciate it's free and the community provides the maps, but for
whatever reason I cannot understand the maps application. For example, I
tried to use it on a drive the other day, and, I don't know, I'm just
confused by the whole thing. I am determined to get it working though,
since not everybody I know has satellite navigation in their veehicles,
so would like to help them out where possible.
Many thanks for helping me understand the Maps application. I have a
Nokia N86 and the firmware is 20.x. And, no, I cannot update the
firmware, not even via Nokia Software Update.
