Hi Steve. To tell the truth, I'm not sure what streams Real Player will play!
So if I want to try other streams, how do I go about it. For example, I've
only used .ram streams and Moodio up until now. I've been trying on and off,
but no go I'm afraid. I did try the internet option on the phone and I can get
stations via that method, but it's difficult without sighted assistance. Real
Player will play videos, but not radio! I'm getting a bit cheesed off with it
now, but I guess I'll have to keep trying! Cheers Steve.

  Hi Steve,

Not really. Does Realplayer work on any other streams? Is it jost Moodio?

  All the best

Hi Steve, sorry, but I didn't see either my original post or your reply.
I've tried changing to contract internet and Vodafone WAP, but both give the
same result. These settings are in options/settings/network...the only other
option is options/settings/proxy, and I don't think I need that 1. So, any
other ideas? Cheers Steve.

    Hi,

I did reply to this one.

Go into Realplayer itself, then Options, Settings, and make sure the right
access point is selected for connection.

    All the best

    Steve

Hi Hussain or anyone else who can help. I added that station and I still
just have Real Player saying "connecting" and it doesn't connect! I said
before, I could stream BBC stations fine up until a couple of months ago, then
it just wouldn't connect. I haven't changed anything, so just presumed it was
the stream address that had changed.

Anyway, I really want to get this sorted. I can play you tube videos fine,
no problem, just radio streams. In stream settings/network I have default
access point=contract internet, on line time=unlimited, lowest UDP Port=6970
and highest UDP Port=32000. I've tried changing it to Vodafone WAP, but still
the same. Would any kind soul please let me know what settings they have if
they can stream OK? or if anyone has any advice on sorting this out, I'd really
appreciate it, cheers Steve.

      Hi,

Try a station called DR Hit. It definitely works. Add it at 24kbps
either stereo or parametric stereo.

My Realplayer settings are the default, other than having it auto-connect
via GPRS.

      Subject: [talks-uk] Moodio help please

Hi, I've tried adding 5 or 6 station now in Moodio, but I can't get any
of them playing on my N85. Up until a couple of months ago, I could stream the
BBC stations fine...then I think they changed their address's or something.
Anyway, I don't think it's to do with my Real Player settings, but I suppose it
could be possible. I can stream You Tube videos OK, but nothing via Moodio.
Would anyone be willing to firstly give me a station in Moodio that definatly
works and secondly, give me their Real Player settings? I'd really appreciate
this, as I want to utilise this radio streaming on my phone. Cheers Steve.
