Hi carla,

Thanks very much for your post.  Your suggestion works a treat.  And as you 
indicated in your follow up messsage this only seems to work in editable areas. 
 I think I was getting confused because I was trying to do the same as I can 
with my desktop screen reader, which can copy text from non-editable areas as 
well.
