Hi Jim,
He can try the following:-
Hold down the number 3, the star key and the call key altogether, and while
they are held down, press and hold the power button. Keep all four held
down until the phone does something. This is a hard reset.
If it doesn't work, then it's back to Nokia I'm afraid.

Subject: [talks-uk] E65 problewm.
Hi List.
A friend of mine has an e65 with talks. He was updating his phone through
the Internet when the computer went off in the middle of the update. Now
when he turns is phone on, he is only getting a blue screen. He can't turn
the phone off and has to take the battery out to turn it off. What can he do
to rectify this problem if anything?
Any help most welcome.
