OK but I had a file on my computer and was too lazy to get out a USB lead to transfer it over and sent it to myself as an e-mail attachment. I knew it was absolutely fine but it did come with a message from BT my provider saying that I should be careful in case of virus and that there was no virus protection on my computer. It obviously thought my mobile phone was a computer because I do have virus protection on the computer from which I sent the file and like I say I know the file was just fine. ----- Original Message ----- From: "DurDevil" <durdevil@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Would I have to transfer it over from my computer ir is there a facility on the phone to do that? How about e-mail and potential viruses. Does the phone need some form of virus protection and if so what? No virus found in this incoming message.
