I know! When channel 6 Eye Witness News interviewed me last month at the plaza,
it was about 9 AM. As the reporter started asking me questions the busses
started coming in and then the fire trucks came out of the fire house on North
Adams and headed down West Tennessee Street.

  Dear Robert,

I wondered the same thing; heck, you can't hear someone talk to you unless
they are right on top of you.

Star Metro must not be very serious about this, How are you going to be
able to hear what is being said at the plaza?

I don't like the times of these sessions, I'm calling it right now, b/s.
Because they must know that this is a serious issue for the visually impaired.
common sense would tell them that most people during the first session will be
getting ready for work, or at work when it takes place, and the second session
is no better, because they know that again most will be getting off work, or
still at work, when it also takes place. I'M not sure if these people really
get it. Well... we have what we have, we will just have to get there some
way, some how.

I'm glad to be your humble and obedient servant,

Choose ye this day whom you will serve. If YHWH be Elohim, then serve
him, with all of your heart. However, if Baal be your god, then serve him. As
for me, and my house. We choose to serve YHWH!

The late Bishop Joe O Patterson told a story long ago, when I was a small
child. about the show down, between Elijah, and the 450 false prophets of
Baal. He shared with us how Elijah, stood, and told the false prophets to go on
ahead, and call their god first. Because they had a much larger program. He
talked about how they had 450 participants to introduce. Elijah was so sure of
YHWH, he with confidence said, that he only had one. Elijah also reminded
them, that they had to drag their fake god up the mountain side on an ox cart.
Elijah also announced to the world, that his Elohim would be there when he
arrived. He said mockingly, you go on ahead. Heck, I will even let you have
prime time. I'M going to take a nap, and when you guys finish your
foolishness, wake me up. Go ahead now, take your best shot.
      Bishop Joe O Patterson

This week is the time to voice concerns or questions about proposed bus
stops in
      StarMetro's Nova2010 plan.
Two listening sessions will allow riders to see maps of 738 bus stops,
also known
as "star stops." The first session will be from 7 to 9 a.m. Thursday at
C.K. Steele
Plaza, followed by a second session from 4 to 6 p.m.
The current system has 1,052 bus stops citywide. Nova2010, which is
designed to create
more routes that won't need to go through the downtown plaza, has 738 bus
stops;
      473 are currently in use.
According to the city, the new stops are for routes that are not
currently available,
such as on portions of Orange Avenue and Blair Stone Road.
StarMetro Executive Director Ron Garrison said the listening sessions are
not a requirement.
They are an extra step toward reaching out to riders, he said.
"But if the customers have a better idea that better serves the public at
no additional
costs," Garrison said, referring to the stops, "we can incorporate those
into the
      plan."
The plan is slated to roll out in July 2011.
Since it was revealed, some residents expressed concerns regarding the
plan's impact
on seniors and those with disabilities. The plan includes eliminating
some routes,
reducing trips throughout neighborhoods and changing the distance between
stops from
one-quarter mile to half a mile.
"It's ridiculous," said Ollie Cue, a 75-year-old Tallahassee resident
who's been
riding the bus for six years.
