1:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Tallahassee Senior Center Improve pedestrian safety: Want to improve Tallahassee's "walkability?" Attend the Pedestrian Workshop, from 1:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Tallahassee Senior Center. Participants will join health and transportation professionals to look at ways to improve pedestrian safety throughout the city. Workshop discussions and an observational "Walk About" will highlight common injury situations and how Tallahassee can become more pedestrian friendly. Attendees will learn how changes to the physical environment, education and enforcement can improve safety for walkers - especially seniors and the disabled. Space is limited and reservations suggested. There is no charge.
