FYI,

 

Thought you all would like to know that Google is starting a web page
(or place as they call it) for every local business or organization.  It
provides basic info (and someone from the Lighthouse can update it), and
it allows for people to "sign in" with their Google accounts to show
that they are there at the moment (using mobile devices, pcs, whatever),
and it allows for the Lighthouse (or anyone) to list "events" which are
scheduled to take place there.

 

I was just at the site, and the URL (which I believe is a permanent
link) is:

You do have to have a Google account to "sign in", but I don't think
just to see what's on the page or going on at the Lighthouse.
