I am from a state where services were consolidated. Things will be fine as long
as counselors specialize like they did there. We had a unit for Blind Services
with specialized counselor. This would not be bad for people with visual
impairment in FL, the only people this is bad for is the CRP's because now they
will have to compete with other agencies and shock - do their dang jobs and be
accountable to the tax payers. Frankly I think it is a good thing that has been
a long time coming, I am all for it.

That's why we need to be pushing for a separate commission for the blind
that would be directed by a board not a individual that can totally wreck
services for the blind in Florida.
