The Longest Table Postponed
Event Rescheduled for Sunday, Oct. 4
The Longest Table event scheduled for tomorrow, Sept. 27 has been postponed
due to an inclement weather forecast by the National Weather Service. The
event will take place next Sunday, Oct. 4 at 5:30 p.m. on Park Avenue
between Calhoun and Gadsden streets.
City of Tallahassee and Leon County Government leaders brought the concept
forward to give a group of diverse residents the opportunity to build and
strengthen relationships. The hope is that this event will inspire residents
to host similar opportunities with the purpose of breaking down racial,
cultural, economic and other social barriers that impact citizens' quality
of life.

Government in partnership with The Village Square, Leadership Tallahassee,
