Dear participants of the t2m conference Berlin 2011,
here, I send you some information concerning the conference.
1)
Please remember that we have a book exhibition. Please bring your
books to the exhibition, if you want to show your books. We also offer
to sell these books for you.
Also we have a table for flyers, magazines and catalogues to inform
your colleagues about your newest projects and publications.
2)
Part of our Welcome-Conference bag is a route map of Berlin`s Urban
Rail and Metro Network. Because Berlin is a city under construction,
we would like to inform you that there is a modification of your most
important underground lines U1 and U2. During the conference you have
to use the underground line U12 from underground-station Zoologischer
Garten to Gleisdreieck to get from your hotel to the Deutsches
Technikmuseum Berlin (DTM).
3)
We kindly inform you that there is no cash machine / ATM at and in the
museum. Please use one of the ATM`s at Zoologischer Garten or ask at
the reception of your hotel.
4)
Please remember that there is a smoking ban inside of the
DTM-building. If you would like to smoke you can use one of the
balconies or terraces at the DTM. Also all public building and many
restaurants are non-smoking zones, similarly every public transport
vehicle.
5)
After your registration at the conference you will get a fair pass
with you name. This pass is simultaneously your ticket during the
conference. It allows you to use all public transport within Berlin.
Please remember that the pass is only valid together with your passport.
