My apologies for repeated-posting everyone! (Technical issues ...)
The webinar, hosted by ANROWS (Australia's National Research Organisation for Women's Safety), will be held online on 1st November 2021 over lunch and is free to attend.
The event description for the webinar is as follows:
“Chuck her on a lie detector”: Investigating Australians’ mistrust in women’s reports of sexual assault, is an ANROWS qualitative research study that explores the factors underlying this community mistrust in women’s reports of sexual assault. This webinar will unpack the report findings and its implications for policy and practice across response services, the criminal justice system, education and the broader community.

The webinar includes speakers from the research team, as well as victims and survivors, practitioners and prevention staff. The topic certainly is important in the Australian social and political climate right now - it is of interest to researchers, the general public, as well as educators and policymakers across varied fields.

Have a great weekend all!
