Hi Everyone,
With respect to the current state of the Corona virus we have decided to
cancel the April UMW General meeting all together. Here is the important
information you would have received from the meeting.
1. A Call to Prayer & Self-Denial Offering – Paul will send
information to the Circle treasurers in April and ask them to collect for
this offering at your next circle meeting. We will turn in our offering
sometime in the fall.
2. Reminder – Refresh and Retreat is cancelled, however if you had
school supplies you would like to donate to Upper Sand Mountain please
contact Kay West at 256-509-9575 or kaycreel1942@xxxxxxxxx and she will
arrange a way to get the items from you.
3. Trinity Market Place was a great success! Thank you to all of our
UMW Members who came and volunteered their time. As always our vendors
wrote on their evaluation sheets how much they appreciated our friendly and
helpful members! One vendor told me that they planned to move to Huntsville
in a few years and when they do they are going to make Trinity their
church. 😊 We raised $15,000!

4. Paula went ahead and sent the checks to our Market Place Recipients:
a. $3,000 to Huntsville Inner City Learning Center
b. $3,000 to Cornerstone Initiative
c. $3,000 to Trinity’s Youth Ministry
d. $3,000 to Trinity’s Children’s Ministry
e. $1,500 to Meals to Grow
f. $1,500 to Huntsville Symphony 3rd Grade Violin Program
Our next UMW event is “UMW Sunday & Bake Sale” on Sunday, May 10th
(Mother’s Day) Please mark your calendars! Hopefully everything will be
bake to normal and the Church will be open again. We will of course, keep
you posted! Also, mark your calendars for our next UMW Game night on
Tuesday, September 1st at 6 p.m.. Our next general meeting will take place
on Tuesday, October 6th at 11 a.m.
