Ladies,
United Methodist Women continues to build upon the foundation set forth by
our founders 150 years ago. In 2014, the Board of Directors launched the
Legacy Fund Endowment Campaign, setting a goal to raise $60 million. The
Legacy Fund Endowment Campaign is both historic and unprecedented, with the
campaign's theme, *Together, we are building our legacy,* celebrating the
*legacy* of the courageous women who founded this mission movement, as well
as the *legacy *that today's members will leave for future generations of
United Methodist women, to create their *legacy* to carry the mission
of *faith,
hope, love in action *forward in the world for years to come.
I know that some of you have given to this in the past*. If you would like
to give a small donation this year, below is the information about the
Legacy Fund and the “Ways to Give”.* *Since it all started in 1869,
several women are sending that amount ($18.69).*
*These donations have to be made to the National UMW, I cannot do these. *
