It is time to Register for the Northeast District UMW Prayer Breakfast. I
will have to have your checks by *Friday, March 15th*, because I need to
get them to the District UMW Registrar by March 19th. Cost is *$15*. *Please
make your check out to Trinity UMW and mail to* *Paula Distler, 5051 Willow
Drive, Huntsville 35803*. (*I have to send one check for all the people
attending from Trinity*)
If you need Childcare, please let me know the number of children & their
ages.
*Also, since this year is the 150th Birthday of United Methodist Women,
they would like to recognize all former members of the Women’s Society of
Christian Service (the earliest of the several missionary societies that
now comprise UMW). So if you are attending and were a member of
the Women’s Society of Christian Service, please let me know.*

*SPEAKER: Mrs. DuWanna Thomas, J.D. *(She graduated with honors from
Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and earned her Juris Doctor
from Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas.
She is a member of the State Bar of Texas. She is also a certified TQM
Facilitator, Family Mediator and Master Compliance Administrator. In
addition to providing counsel to individuals, she has mediated labor and
personnel disputes. Her professional experience includes international
trade and transportation, contract compliance and management consulting.
She has served on several boards and continues to provide consulting
services to individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations. DuWanna
is married to Reverend Dr. Byron E. Thomas, Senior Pastor of Ben Hill
United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. They are the proud parents of
2 adult sons.)
