Yes, social media is a great idea! If SWC makes an event will people see it if
people "attend" and share since our fb group is private? I just know that was
one of the best ways Market Place got exposure was through the "event" I
created.

I will break the narthex cash bag into two bags. We'll need two collection

set last night. About to start baking now. :)
Thanks Audrey for all the work you've put into getting BWS off the ground
again. I think we need to push it on social media as much as we can as a
group. Hopefully our sales won't be affected too much. Talk it up at the
Fall Carnival too, since it's the same target audience.

Hi Ladies,
In an effort to "focus the attention of the church on one mission per
Sunday", we will only be allowed to sell BWS tickets in the narthex and NR
lobby on one of the three Sundays we requested. I don't know what the mission
focus in the narthex and NR lobby will be on the other two Sundays....my
guess is none. Miriam suggested we put up a table in the preschool lobby on
the other Sundays to sell tickets. I"m going to request to sell tickets in
the Narthex and NR Lobby on Nov 20th and sell tickets in the preschool lobby
Nov 13, 20 and 27th. We will have to see if our limited exposure in front of
the congregations affects our ticket sales and reevaluate for next year.
In other news, our set up for the big UMW MP bake sale this Sunday has been
changed. Apparently our two tables in the Narthex will be set up opposite
each other in front of each stairwell. This is somewhat problematic since we
only have one easel board explaining what the event is and where the proceeds
go. But on the other hand, it will make it super easy for people to walk
right past us and out the door. Our tables in the NR lobby will be off to the
side back by the cappuccino machines.
Sincerely aggravated,
Audrey
