money!
I need to have all UMW money turned in *by November 24th*. This includes
money for Pledge to Mission, the World Thank Offering, and Camp
Sumatanga. *Any amount is greatly appreciated*!
*An individual member’s Pledge to Mission is the amount a woman gives to
her local unit to help fulfill the Purpose of UMW. The Pledge to Mission
funds help to relieve suffering and improve the quality of life for women,
children, and youth. They support national Mission Institutions and
projects (in all 50 states), and international ministries (in almost 100
countries). *We have already collected $4,454 towards our $5,450 Pledge
to the District.
*The World Thank Offering is used in United Methodist Women’s total
program of mission and advocacy in the United States and around the
world. *We have already collected $117; we usually collect $350 - $400
for this.
*Camp Sumatanga - We have already collected $415 for Camp Sumatanga this
year ($250 of this was in memory of Rev. Willis Vickery). *Our unit
usually sends in $350 - $375 for Camp Sumatanga, so we have already
collected more than we usually do. If anyone else wants to contribute to
this, I can still receive donations.
Please make checks out to *Trinity UMW**. You can write one check for
any or 2 - 3 of these. Please write what the money is for* (Pledge,
World Thank, and/or Camp Sumatanga) *on** an enclosed note or on the
“For” line. *
You can turn these funds into your Circle Treasurer *or* you can mail
