I think you are right--1.1 is more likely.  What I meant was that
it definitely isn't 2.0: the 2.0 spec was released after the SunPCi II
came out.  The chipset is SiS 7001, for which even SiS doesn't keep specs
online.  SunPCi III cards (the current model) has USB 2.0 on a VIA
chipset.
