[suncommunity] Problem executing shell script

We are building installer for out java product. During installation we
execute a shell script. When I execute the script from shell prompt it
works fine. But when bundled in the installer it gives me an error. The
error message is as follows
"The script executed with error : 1"
Does any one know what is wrong and what the error indicates.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
