It seems to work peachy with USB external hd which was always somewhat
problematic before unless you downloaded development drivers/etc.
Haven't tried the firewire yet ... I have only played with Sol 10 on an
x86 sad to say my sunblade100 mostly sits ignored .... just not enough
time.
Don't know about Expert3d for sure but would expect so ...
