Okay then. I just asked. I'm not too sure how many things use them, but in the case I was thinking about, one could then take full advantage of something like the Sound devices audio interface. It doesn't work at's full 192 KHZ capability with out it for some reason. Hi Hamit, No, Studio Recorder does not support ASIO drivers. What advantage would supporting ASIO drivers bring to SR? Does SR support ASIO drivers? I don't remember reading that. If I did, I must have not paid attention to it since I didn't know about these at the time of reading the manual. Just to add my 5 cents here. I too find studio recorder a great little program. We use it for a lot of two track radio production work. It certainly is a very stable bit of soft where. The one thing I guess that would be nice is more plugin support. E.g. I can not use sr exclusively in my studio at home here, because it does not support direct x, and vst pluggins. At least, I don't think it does. If it does I'm very happy to be corrected. So I still use sound forge a lot, as I have quite a few wav's pluggins, and other bells and whistles. But I tell you one thing. If the pluggin support was there. I would use s r for all two track needs without a second thought. As I find it to be very stable, and a great little audio environment. How ever I all so understand that s r is mainly designed for recording books, and that pluggin support may not be what this program is ment for. Hi all, I also am in support of multitracking! This will make SR even better, and as a matter of fact, it will make it the easiest multitrack software to use, because of all the windows commands it already has, but then also, it would have multitracking available! Greetings to the APH development staff and the list in general: Several months ago there was discussion of possible enhancements to Studio Recorder, but Larry was pretty frank about the fact that resources at APH were tied up with several very important projects. I'm curious if there is currently any work being done on a new version of Studio Recorder that would address things such as plugin support and maybe even true multitrack capability. I realize this would take the product into a whole new area, and I understand that this simply may not be practical in the forseeable future, but I am still curious as to where things stand. I'm hoping APH will be able to comment a bit on this. I continue to be a very happy SR user along with other programs such as Goldwave and Reaper. Take care and have a great week.
