Hi all, Well folks, I got around the requirement for having to use a decoder first, before editing an mp3 file. This is what you do. 1. Launch studio recorder. 2. open the mp3 file you want with enter. 3. Now, instead of pressing f6 to record, first, do some editing with your normal edit commands in studio recorder. 4. Now, even if you did just 1 edit, you can now, record in the file, with f6. I just did it with an mp3 file, and no decoder needed! Harry
