Could part of the differences in what you guys are seeing be that one of you is
using the Wav View, and the other is using the Time view.

Subject: [studiorecorder] Question about using control keys for scrubbing.
OK. Here is what happens. I set my scrub time in the general tab of the preset
menu to something so small that it is rediculuous. I hold down the control key
and do either arrows or function keys. JAWS is not loaded. I go to the very
beginning of the word I want to edit out by holding down the control key and
arrow or function. I press space, and there is room between where I am and the
word. I can right arrow or F12 5 times before I actually get to the word. I
have tried this with a number of zoom levels, but the control keys don't seem
to have much to do with that. They appear to be set in the general page of the
preset menu.
So, I don't know how to do this any differently. I can make an audio demo of
this if it helps.
