thought of before.
So yes, I too would like to see SR start to move forward but having a number
of tools at your disposal that are accessible is indispensable.

Here's the thing, the reason I brought this whole thing up is, I don't have
time in my day, like all of you do, obviously, to have to work with multiple
programs.
the world we live in, is fast, and it's going to get faster, and those who
do a task faster, will survive, and those who don't will not, in the world
of work.
I don't have hours, to use multiple programs.
SR has great key commands because of windows key commands.
It would be nice to have 1 program, to do all of what we all want to do, and
studio recorder, has the best keyboard commands to do things.
I here people out here, all the time, saying, "I'd like SR to ...," and
they're right, it needs to, and I will back those people up, every time.
Just because it's not designed to do something, doesn't mean, that it should
never be, because it should. If people settle for average, that's what we
get, if we settle for wasting time, using multiple programs, then we will
waste, time, that is a scarce resource today.

I also use SR along with Audacity and Sonar depending on the task at hand.
I too would like to see the ability to do multi-track recording and
include some effects in SR to make it more flexible in putting
together modern podcasts and other audio material.

Neal,
I agree. Studio Recorder was written to allow talking book producers
to record digital books. To do that, you don't need noise reduction,
multi-tracking, etc. Although I wish it had some equalizer capability,
I'm not disappointed if it never shows up.
