I can see how this would be confusing. Especially if you use one more then
the other but then you go and switch back for something.

Subject: [studiorecorder] A possible feature for a future update

Hi Rob and list. I and others who use studio recorder also use sound forge
to do things like equalization, noise gating, etc. The problem is, Return
and Space Bar do just the opposite things in Sound Forge than they do in
Studio Recorder. Space bar stops and starts playing were you started the
last playback. Enter, stops and starts playback at the cursor. As you can
see, these are reversed from SR.

Would it be possible to have a user option to reverse the key assignments of
these two functions. Supposedly, you can map the keystrokes in Sound Forge
to do just this, but it is not only complicated, it is not very accessible.

Just a thought on this snowy Wednesday in Madison.

Neal
