I'm a bit early with this week's notice but I'm restless.
Let's meet at Panera in Novato for an afternoon of knitting. This will be the
last time you'll see me before I go in for surgery next Tuesday, October
15th! Yes, it's exactly one week from today.
If anyone would like to contribute food for my recovery, this Saturday would
be a good day to bring it to knitting. I'm looking for food that is
freezable, like soups, stews, chilis, casseroles, that kind of thing. You can
either portion it out into single servings, ready to be frozen, or you can
bring it all in one container and I can portion it out. I have a good
collection of plastic tubs I can use. Someone is already making me chicken
soup, so I have that covered! If you'd like to contribute but just don't have
time this week or you cannot get to Panera on Saturday, you can visit me when
I get home and drop off your goodies.
As of right now, I have the following time slots open if anyone is still
interested to help out with watching over me. ;-)
Monday Oct 21, daytime shift and evening/overnight shift.
Tuesday Oct 22, daytime shift.
The overnight shift is the one I'd most like to fill.
