Lisa,
This sounds delicious! Let me be a tentative "yes." I arrive home from Paris on
the 30th & have to get myself back on CA time! I also have 3 images to print
frame up for an Artists of Mt Tam Show (with reception the 3rd, I think).
Thanks for getting this organized!
A bientot,
Lila

Subject: [strandedknitter] Knit Adventure #1 East Bay Part One
Greetings Knitters!
Time to drive outside the North Bay and go see a few knit shops.
Saturday November 3 is Knit Adventure #1
A quick East Bay Tour with lunch!
Avenue Knits & Black Squirrel
Here's the plan:
We will meet at 11:AM in the North corner of the Northgate parking lot
(The Macy's end by the Brew Pub)
We'll carpool over to the East Bay, it's an easy drive cause we exit 580 at the
Buchanan exit left, so we don't have to get into all the icky traffic.
First stop Avenue Yarns at about 11:30. Plan on a 45 minute visit.
Lunch on the Avenue. There are lots of yummy places to eat Bowl'd Korean Rice
Bar and Barney's Burgers to suggest a few, both are walking distance from
Avenue Yarns. We can either eat together or in groups. We can discuss that
ahead of time. It kinda depends on how many of us are going. After lunch around
1:30/2ish we will head to Black Squirrel. It's only two miles from the Avenue.
Chase and Westley at Black Squirrel are expecting us and we are free to sit
there and knit in the afternoon. We can play it by ear when folks want to
leave. Again it may depend on how many of us are going. There is a lovely
little coffee shop on the corner by Black Squirrel, if you want an afternoon
treat.
It will be a fun day!
Please RSVP so I can get a head count. Also please consider being a driver. I
have a mini and so I can only take one person if I drive.
AND mark you calendar....
Knit Adventure #2 is Sunday November 18th 10-4
Stay Tuned.
Warmly,
Lisa, Your Adventure Planner
