Sweeping down from the north is a massive winged creature coming from out
of the sky. It surprises the group and lets forth a massive roar. The party
can feel the massive evil force from behind them. They are also feeling wet
as if it raining on them. Of the ten gnomish archers with you two seem
unaffected. One, Calbark, bolts off for the coast, and seven appear frozen
in terror. Donik who is by Hagar starts yelling for Kelbis to "Get his
fuzzy ass out here and kill the beast!" Zilvar and Orumop remain functional
and ready their bows.
The nasty mixture of chlorine gas and saltwater seems to rain down on the
party to a somewhat devastating effect. As the gnomes were in a support
role, only three of the ten will be within the strafing area of the gas
attack. Those three gnomes, already frozen in fear will not see another
birthday. (For those keeping track, Lanser, Pordell, and Oran are now
acidic gnome corpses).
Hagar fails his save and takes 56HPs of damage; some of his equipment is
looking a little rough; Elmore takes 28 HPs, Xander takes 56HPs, Johnny Mac
drops taking 56HPs but remains alive, Calji Donik will immediately try to
tend to Xander and Johnny Mac. Carnodolana and her dogs get less than the
full effect as Ezanus is pulling up. Carnodolana, still in cheetah form
takes 14HPs and two of her dogs go down (pack #1 & 3). No. 2 and Buddy are
damaged, and yelping badly, but still with you. Buddy seems frozen in
place. Ezanus sees Holly at the last minute and makes a half-hearted bite
attempt as he swings out over the coast. Holly is able to keep control of
her carpet and remain on board, but is pushed a bit inland.
Actions for Initiative; Sean can let his first arrow go if he wishes at
Ezanus.
