Fred, I agree with you that we like to live above ground. And we want to
live... that why we need make arrangements for the living in caves until the
this current threat is dealt with. we will build above ground after the threat
is conquered. The threat can take out all of our plans... the dock will be
built, we will line our pockets with coin...we will have the best services and
men will line up for them. But for now, we have to survive this challenge

Fred's argument for above ground dwellings is that only dwarves and gnomes
like to live in caves. Humans and most sailors are human like to have fresh air
and some sky. Fred will smile at Sean at this point. Plus if the ships see
buildings they are more likely to stop. The gnomes keep the droolers away for
the most part. Fred will look to Holly to support him.

I’m of the opinion temporarily subdividing the caverns is the better idea.
More defensible. Two dragons, the Droolbane and too many other threats close by
to have much safety. We lack defensive walls for a proper keep , much less
outer curtain for expansion. Walls wouldn’t stop a dragon, but walls and enough
troops might at least slow down the Droolbane and a few other threats.

I guess the only other thing would be preliminary division of spoils to
purchase the sundries and supplies. Is Fred ready to start building above
ground, or should we just furnish and subdivide the caverns?

Assuming Ahearn, Cara, Holly, and Sean do regular patrols, they will find
nothing on the day the Turtle arrives. Jethro will want a day to refresh his
freshwater, get the ship repaired and otherwise enjoy a relaxing day in port.
Fred will suggest a supply list to Holly consisting of some barrels of beer and
ale for future ships who stop by. He will also ask for some other sundries,
blankets, slops, cups, plates, knives, daggers, etc. Some basic tools, shovels,
picks, etc.
Ahearn girlfriend remains a bit sullen and cries from time to time, but has not
gotten loose of her bounds. The gnomes are watching her.
Other actions? I apologize if I missed anything.
