Hmmm... maybe when Sicarius moves his forge outside, he can learn hill giant
and have an able aid.

Unless the smiths in RL have gotten better, Sicarus is a more able smith than
RL’s. Elmore had to import the 10 suits of chainmail he purchased from
Stoddard. Local smiths did not yet have the skill for better than ring mail
when he purchased the armor.

Chain mail is AC 5; leather is AC 8.

OOC Your game, how much does chainmail affect dexterity in AC? I have
people with better than average Dexterity that I was going to make into archers
(don’t remember who) and I have people who may not be particularly Dexterous

warriors.

If it were truly a cake walk, we wouldn't gain any XPs from it.
We have more continual light sources than we can shake a stick at,
including Sean's Quimby-built maglight (ok, two of them). We have highly
skilled trap defeaters. And as already noted, our ability to dish out damage
is limited only by the goblins' willingness to die.
That said, as Sean has said so often even he is tired of hearing it
said, whether we go on this mission is not up to him. He still believes the
benefits outweigh the risks. Others with more skin in the game, as it were,
might not agree.

Hard to say. Yes, the goblin warrens will definitely give them home
field advantage. But there are eighteen spearmen, several longbowmen,
Nesgrous, Johnny Mac, Hagar, Ahearn and Sean can get something in excess of
thrity two melee attacks off every round, and every hit kills a goblin. Figure
Hagar and Johnny may do a minimum of 6hp damage without magical boonuses with
each hit. The weaker ranger Sean does a minimum of 10hps with each hit, and I
have no idea what sort of magical power Alga brings to the equation. Just the
core four plus Nesgrous between 280 and 600 hp of damage against goblins in a
single round. I know from the MERP game that you like to see the numbers, so
them's the numbers here. Lots of attacks, most will hit, and every hit is
lethal. And that doesn't include the rest. It'll look like a bad video game.
Biggest problem will be traps. Not even really afraind of ambushes,
given our strength.

Is Holly still with us? She expressed an interest in
accompanying Carandolana north. If so, she can 'transmit' the thoughts. Are
the guardsmen still up for battle knowing it is going to be underground? It
appears unlikely that we can burn a cave to the ground, as it is already
beneath it.
Given these revelations, does anyone have anything to add to
the planning?
Sean assumes we are still going. Cizvar will remain outside
the caverns, I presume. Unless he can cave in some of the entrances.
Anything more about the plants?

Jaitbax is a name we heard before, actually. Listed as
Droolbane Leader. We heard of Zirbnicht as well, Claalgulp told us about him.
Zirbnicht the Cuckold, as his female, Leega, is being banged by his bodyguard,
Yankall, who Cizvar knows as Yank.
Does Claalgulp think they might be less on guard if Cizvar
leads the way? If they see him?
I assume there is a lot of goblin ale for Cizvar to be
found there. And making more would be one of the many things any friendly
goblins could do, for which we would pay.

Beautiful women. I would like one for myself, if you can do that.
The guard creatures are plants and toads. Big mean killer

The village is mostly underground, like your place here.
The brush can be tough to get through if Ezanus is in a bad mood.
