Carandolana staggers, limps, or is assisted to get near to where Ahearn is.

lot to you. I don't see what the attraction is. Damn that guy was fast."

Sean talks with Ahearn, briefly, not wanting to overtax him. "Brother, I am
going to check out the dragon's lair, make it easier for us to go back that way
when it's time to do so. I will be careful. I look forward to going back
there with you to my front."
To Hagar, Sean says "My Prince, I intend to scout out the route to Ezanus's
lair. He must be destroyed, when we are all up to snuff, we must destroy the
wyrm. I prefer to scout it alone, I would not lead anyone into danger until we
are ALL going into danger together." Sean smiles. "I'll try not to stir up
too much trouble." At that, he smirks.

Hagaor says "Whoevere wishes to Range with Sean is free to Range."
Hagar sets up the cave crew into defense guarding rotations through the week
until all are healed up and ready to go. Keeping the rotation so no one gets
burnt out and always has night vision mixed in at night guarding. Holly can
reset her trip wires but Hagar thinks they will be less affective the next time.
He says Farab be praised also with the three raised from certain death. We
need to do the last rights too.
Card, we know you can recover like a Troll so we had to gamble or knock your
pups out. This time the gamble worked.
OOC - Yea, it will take some time to get everyone healed up so until then,
Holly can be our scout in the air patrol nad keep an eye on things. Sean will
Rnage and the rest run patrols but close to home with guard duties to. If any
localized work on the cove/caves/dock can be done that is organized.

*Healed up, just tired. Getting knocked under takes a lot out of you.
Remember I heal about three times faster than you do, so there's that, and skin
changing also heals me a lot. I had to become a dog to tell the boys I was okay
and to get them to relax, because they weren't letting anyone near me while I
was down. Just bring me arrow parts so I can keep busy and not feel useless. I
hope to be able to pray soon enough for spells; that drop under knocked all my
prayers out of my head.* She sounds a bit scattered.

How did folks get the idea that Carandolana isn't going to need to
recover just like any other character who drops below 0? Just because she can
selfheal doesn't seem to give her a pass on being a lump for days after it.
If she can cast spells she'll turn into a Goodberry factory again, 6
Goodberry spells per day for a maximum of 48 goodberries or a total of 336 for
a full seven day of making them and perfect die rolls.
She wants to chat with Ahearn.
She'll keep an eye on her armor, seeing if the enchantment does
anything to repair it.
And soon after she gets to the caves she'll wash and oil her skin so
she feels clean again after all that. She suspects the cheetah spot won't wash
off, and it's there as a reminder.
As much as she can she'll be her easy-going charismatic self instead of
the Carandolana -- Warrior Druid she seems to have to adopt so much.

Subject: [stoddard] The aftermath
In the immediate aftermath of recovering everybody and getting them to
the cavern, Sean and Joseph will go and recover the horses. Hopefully.
Thereafter, we appear to have time on our hands.
Xander, Ahearn and Johnny Mac need rest and rehabilitation. Farab be
praised.
Carandolana will slowly heal herself if not aided.
We have a week to kill. Or whatever Steve decides.
In that week, Sean has plans. In addition to the interment of our
honored dead, in properly consecrated ground, Sean intends to remove
Largeskull's large skull and mount it on a pole near where his landing party
landed. That will be a day one project. He'll also decapitate the ogres,
tying their heads together in pairs by their hair. The plan is to leave them
at the entrance to Hilda's caves. He'll spend the better part of the rest of
the day waiting on any patrols issuing forth from Hilda's cave, and killing
them. Or retiring before them if they are too much for him to handle. He'd
prefer to go it alone, but is willing to accept aid from Padrock and Wolfgang,
as he has been training them in the longbow. What he'll do is track the ogres
back the way they came, not because he doesn't know where Hilda's cave is, but
because he wants to see the route the next patrol is likely to take. The
ambush will be somewhere along there. Because he is so easily taunted, and
because every action requires a reaction. The equal and opposite part only
applies to a physics response. Sean is very much a disproportional response
sort of fellow.
If the rest of the party strenuously objects to this plan, he will not
do it, certainly not that the party knows, anyway. Whether he does it alone is
a whim of the moment thing.
His big plan for the week, however, is to trek to Ezanus's lair. His
intent is not to engage (unless a golden opportunity presents itself) but,
rather, to fix it's location (as opposed to having a map designation we've
never checked) and determine what we will encounter on our way there. Because,
surely, when back to strength, we will dispatch this draconian nightmare once
and for all. In this, Sean will accept no help, with the exception of
goodberries, not for their healing, but for their incidental ability to obviate
the need to eat.
Sicarius, during this time, will be doing routine maintenance of
weapons and armor. In addition, he will be looking to see if he has enough
materials to build a ballista, using Bertha as a model. At some point, he'd
prefer to make something that fires rocks (an onager or a scorpion) but he has
no model to use for that, while Agrobast made a perfectly practical mobile
ballista for Hagar, and Sicarius thinks he can manufacture a bigger model using
it as an example (Sicarius is a weaponsmith, but he could use some assistance
from a bowyer, which we have a few).
Sicarius will ask Xander, when his is out and about, whether he thinks
that trick he did with the rocks turning into a paper would work if attached to
a ballista bolt. One hit on a ship by a ballista bolt so enhanced could
destroy it.
