Sean thanks Carandolana. He looks like he wants to ask her something, but
decides to just go and get a pick and shovel and head for Overwatch Hill,
He'll array the grave along the east-west axis, his head laid to the west,
facing east toward the rising sun. Sean, who never asked Joseph if he favored
a particular god, takes his cue from Pomeroy's mention of Ulsar, which makes
sense given Paris's curing of his leprosy. When he heads back to Joseph's
Cave, he'll find the biggest bone he can find (likely an ogre femur), and
later ask Lanser to carve something of a scrimshaw headstone(he'll pay him, of
course). When Ahearn is ready, we'll inter Joseph.
Having had his blisters healed by Pomeroy, Sean will most definitely ride
Melody over to the cave and assist with hauling the loot.
I assume both Xander and Carandolana cast the mount spells. And I assume that
a contingent of troops, as well as the fighter types of the party, at least
(except the recuperating Ahearn) will be involved in transporting everything
back to the Cove. Steve can tell us how many trips will be needed (which will
depend on how many mounts were generated, I presume).
(No need for a sick day if the Cure Light Wounds removes the blisters)

(I don't know if she's going to need spells if the group is staying in, so if
they're not going out to do anything she'll turn out another batch of
goodberries for second level, keep with Protection from Lightning for fourth,
Protection from Fire and two Summon Insects for third, and for first level
it'll be Detect Magic, Entangle twice, Faerie Fire, Predict Weather, and Speak
with Animals.)
She'll find a place in the caves where she's out of the way and there's a good
perch for Duthoron.

The hawks will raise a couple of concerns and prefer not to have Joseph buried
too close to their roost. They will suggest maybe something over by Overlook
Hill on the far side of the river? He could still see the river and ocean from
there.

Pomeroy will agree that Ahearn seems to be functioning at twice the speed
of a normal person. Pomeroy will agree Joseph is now in the light of Ulsar and
is most likely extremely happy there. Pomeroy will ask Ahearn to encourage
Sean to leave him cure him. A CLW will make those burns go away and he can be
back to clean this area of darkness and doing the work of Farab, Ulsar, and
your great mother.
If Cara if willing to speak with the blue tailed hawks they are available
for a conversation.

Joseph's resurrection would please me, but I do not know that it
would please him. We never discussed the idea. I think it is best to let him go
to Mother's side unless someone could speak to him and ask him what he wishes.
But I do not have that skill.

Subject: [stoddard] The Next Morning
By the next morning, Pomeroy will suggest that based upon his minor
skills, Joseph is not a viable candidate to be raised. Maybe a resurrection
might work, but that would include the high priest. That is way beyond his
meager skills.
Magical healing will help Sean's blisters. The goodberries already
removed some of the damage. More would do more.
Pomeroy will ask both Cara and Elmore what is up with Ahearn,
"wasn't he knocked unconscious? He seems in much better shape than he should be
in my experience."
Holly and Xander both seem to feel that they are ready to improve
their skills. Holly will need to train. Xander will not. (Assuming I did the
math correctly in both cases.)
