One of Elmore's men, Chonz, is also a gardener.

If the gardener is amenable to it, I will show him where I have been working

Subject: [stoddard] Re: Sean's next day: the planning phase Even though Sean is
taking a personal day, we probably ought to figure out our next moves. Holly
needs to train. We (meaning the party, not Sean, or Ahearn) are bringing the
recovered treasure to the Cove. Some of us probably ought to head to Aarell
with her. Sean will escort any who want to go from our guests, and Ahearn
wants to bring more horses back, as does Carandolana. Knowing that Holly
wanted to fly home, I was hoping Carandolana would assume a hawk shape and fly
with her. Us lowly mortals will walk, when we go. Unless a ship shows up
before we leave.
What we do next is once again an open discussion. Hopefully Ezanus got bored
with us. I somehow doubt that. He should be dealt with. There are potential
allies in that direction as well who I think some in the group would like to
meet. And then there is that pirate menace. Not Golden, but Ingross.
To that end, Sicarius, once he sees the two handed swords, would like to
repurpose then, reforging the blades into the swing arms of a large crossbow or
ballista, made of metal, not wood. He has ideas on how to do it but may not
necessarily succeed (Steve will determine). He'd like to make a missile
launcher that fires a metal shaft with the intent to pierce ship hulls at
range. He'll also want it to throw ceramic jars filled with oil, possibly
already it with a wick. Again, depends on Steve.
Whoever goes to Aarell needs to see about shipping to the Mindolas when we are
ready. although I think Jethro was willing to take us. It's been a while, and
I don't remember.
Sean will, at some point in the very near future, will ask our guests if they'd
like to stay one. We could use all of their skills. A gardener will be
helpful, as well as a leather worker and a tanner. Ernst the clerk will be
useful to Hagar. And the ladies will also be welcome. Sean hopes that at
least one stays on to assist Pomeroy.

Sean is taking a sick day as his blisters heal. His plan for the day is to see
how the former captives (I think it will be easier to call them our guests) are
doing, lay Joseph to rest, and lounge in the North Creek, up stream of the
weir. He'll bring his bow and his sword. And a dozen arrows. And his fishing
gear. And a bag in case he catches anything. And he'll forage at a leisurely
pace in the area he soaks himself.
Anybody not going to and from the Cave is welcome to come fish with him. That
includes any of our guests.
