Ahearn and Sean are out of commission for a week, by the book. If Holly is
correct and the demons are gone, and the caverns "empty" (but for the shadows
we are pretty sure are there, and the lower undead we think are there), does
the party wish to clear it while there are no demons, even without the chaos
brothers? There is a risk that more demons arrive while we wait for Sean and
Ahearn to be ready to fight. And, assuming John Mac wants to be raised, and
survives it, add a minimum of four more days travel time to that if waiting for
the party to be fully functional. I am neither championing a position nor
ruling any out. Just putting forth possible options for next actions.
We could also retreat to Aarell and regroup, but moving overland will prevent
Sean or Ahearn from benefiting from rest, and you are taking two weeks round
trip. In addition, there is two and a half tons of coin we already have to
consider.
And then there is the Faltoc-humping Dolphin to consider. And the Droolbane.
And Ezanus the Evergreen. And the Necropirate Badmiral.
Sean can't express an opinion, and opinions are well above Sicarius's pay grade
at this point.
